Bringing back web3 gaming into action

What is web3 gaming? Just like any other games, games that can be accessed or played online are hosted somewhere, whereas web3 gaming is hosted inside the blockchain. According to “Akash Takyar” on one of his blog CEO of Leewayhertz, where this post is inspiredly posted with his article “all about Web3“, Web3 games is designed and molded by running into the blockchain, where the ecosystem of the game, where gamers are allowed to express what they thought how the game should or may come up to.

Web3 games are built by integrating blockchain into the gaming ecosystem, allowing gamers to express their opinion on when and how the game should evolve. Web3 gaming also lays down the foundation of play-to-earn for players, and it changes the pay-to-play aspect by offering asset trading, tradeable game tokens, and opportunities to earn in cryptos while playing.

Will web3 gaming will bring us to the moon?

According to some reports from Gamefi Tokenomics, Web3 games will likely bring some good effects on our current blockchain technologies. There will be a great opportunity that users, gamers and developers itself will be benefiting. Its all about having digital assets, and the rewards that they will be having through playing, which also gives them power of governance to steer the future of what the game can come up to.

According to the author of “Deep Dive”, Crypto games should be not taken seriously since its about entertainment and fun.

Some reports are noting that the main issue of play-to-earn games is their ability to sustain, since the beginning, players are giving their effort and focus to earn tokens rather than enjoying the game. Which it should be, I believe it should be, since they put their money to the game, just to earn.

“As such, we see that while there are benefits to a two-token model, it isn’t an underlying necessity for games to be successful,” the authors said. “We rather see that truly fun games can design sustainable tokenomics with a single token alone.”
